How semester sublets work at the co.space
Our standard lease is 12 months. When a resident studies abroad or takes a semester-long internship, we try to match them with someone who needs housing for that semester. Apply and note that you only need one semester, and we'll let you know when a spot fits.
Tips for finding a semester lease in State College
- Start 2-3 months before the semester begins.
- Check Penn State's Off-Campus Living housing search and student groups, and verify any sublet with the landlord.
- Prioritize furnished places so you don't buy furniture for four months.
- Ask whether utilities are included to avoid setting up accounts for a short stay.
